M30 Proximity Sensor, 30mm Diameter Inductive Proximity Sensor Introduction:

  • The ‘M30 proximity sensor’ refers to the nickel-plated brass tube with a thread size of 30mm. The M30 inductive proximity sensor models include LM30-3010xxx and LM30-3015xxx. Where ‘xxx’ represents the output types, such as NPN, PNP, NO, NC, or NO+NC.
  • This M30 sensor is used to detect various kinds of non-ferrous metals, including iron, steel, aluminium, copper, and more. The detection distance can be either 10mm or 15mm, where 10mm is for the flush type and 15mm is for the non-flush type(Confused about flush vs. non-flush? Read this article: Shielded Vs Unshielded Proximity Sensor: 3 Big Differences You Need To Know).
  • Operating through a non-contact method, the sensor can sense objects without physical contact, thus avoiding collisions between the sensor and the measured object.
  •  The sensor is highly accurate and reliable, making it ideal for a wide range of industrial and automation applications, such as quantity counting.
  •  This 30mm inductive proximity sensor can be used with the DH48J counter to count the quantity of metallic objects on a conveyor belt, etc.
  • It has a protection degree of IP67, providing dust tightness and protection from immersion effects.
