520mm Protection Height Safety Light Curtain Sensor Introduction:

  • This is our longer protection height safety light curtain sensor, with a total protection length of 520mm. This sensor is widely used to ensure the safety of individuals and to protect against accidents when operating heavy and dangerous machinery.
  • It features a self-diagnostic function, which enables it to detect and report any errors that may occur. The error codes are then sent to the PLC or other monitoring equipment for further action.
  • With a thickness of 2.0mm and a high-quality aluminum housing, this sensor is capable of withstanding collisions and providing reliable protection. Additionally, the thick aluminum housing ensures safe shipment.
  • The beam distance of this 520mm height safety sensor can be 10mm, 20mm, or 40mm. The 10mm distance is suitable for finger protection, 20mm for palm protection, and 40mm for arm protection.
  • The laser-printed specifications and brand ensure durability and long-lasting performance.

How to choose a safety light curtain sensor? There are 3 steps:

  1. Selecting Optical Axis Spacing:
    – An optical axis spacing of 10mm is suitable for finger protection or other small objects.
    – An optical axis spacing of 20mm is suitable for palm protection or protection of objects larger than 20mm.
    – An optical axis spacing of 40mm is primarily used for arm protection or for protecting objects larger than 40mm.
  2. Selecting the Number of Optical Axes:The number of optical axes, or light beams, is determined by the height of the emitter and receiver, and can range from 4 to 500 points.
  3. Selecting the Interception Distance:The interception distance, also known as the protective length, refers to the maximum distance at which the receiver can reliably receive signals from the emitter.
