200 mm Protection Height Safety Light Curtain Sensor Introduction:

• Lorentzzi® 200 mm protection height safety light curtain sensor is designed for protection against small machinery.
• The working principle is very simple and easy to understand. When the infrared light between the safety light curtain sensor transmitter and receiver is blocked, the output will be activated to achieve specific control requirements, such as shutdown, alarm, etc.

• The output of this safety light curtain can be selected as a normally closed transistor PNP or NPN output, or a normally closed relay output. The response time of transistor output (20 ms) is faster than that of relay output (30 ms). The output can be selected as single channel or dual channel, and dual channel output is safer.

• The beam spacing can be selected as 10.0 mm, 20.0 mm or 40.0 mm. For the detection of small objects such as fingers, please use the 10.0 mm beam spacing; for the detection of medium to large objects, please choose the other two. Or you can contact us for advice.

5 Steps To Choose A Safety Light Curtain? 

1.  Selecting Optical Axis Spacing:
   – 10 mm optical axis spacing is used for finger protection or other small objects.
   – 20 mm optical axis spacing is used for palm protection or protection of objects larger than 20 mm.
   – 40 mm optical space spacing is used for arm protection or for protecting objects larger than 40 mm.
2. Selecting Number of Optical Axes: The number of optical axes, or light beams, is determined by the height of the emitter and receiver, and can range from 7 to 500 beams.
3. Selecting Protection Width: Lorentzzi® safety light curtain protection width can be 0.1 mm to maximum 3000.0 mm.
4. Choosing Installation Method: The installation method can be side installation or top/bottom installation.
5. Output options: Lorentzzi® safety light curtain outputs can be single-channel PNP, NPN, or relay outputs, or dual-channel PNP, NPN, or relay outputs.
