Introduction:

• • The Lorentzzi single-phase SCR power regulator shown in the images above is mainly used to control single-phase heating elements. It utilizes state-of-the-art phase-shifting technology to regulate its output voltage, thereby achieving output power control.
  • Compared to our single-phase solid-state relays (on/off type), using this single-phase SCR power regulator allows you to control the temperature of the heating element more precisely.
  • Its control signal can be selected by a PLC or our PID temperature controller as 4-20 mA, 0-10VDC, or 1-5VDC, or its output power can be manually controlled using a potentiometer.

• • As the control signal increases or decreases, its output voltage will also increase or decrease accordingly. You can think of it as its output power changing linearly from 0% to 100%.

• • Its load current ranges from 10 amps to a maximum of 200 amps, so it can drive 220VAC heating elements with a power range from 1 kW to a maximum of 22 kW, or 110VAC heating elements with a power range from 0.5 kW to a maximum of 11 kW.

• • When using this type of single-phase SCR power regulator, you should consider using a suitable heatsink or cooling fan, as its load section will generate a voltage drop of 1.5V, and this energy loss will be dissipated in the form of heat (you can contact us for our recommended suitable heatsink).
