M18 Photoelectric Sensor Introduction:

  • Our M18 photoelectric sensors are available in 3 types: diffuse, retroreflective and through-beam. Maximum detection distance respectively 30 cm, 2 meters and 5 meters.

  • The one we will introduce is an 18 mm diameter diffuse reflection proximity sensor switch, it uses 660 nm infrared light to detect the presence of any object, no matter whether it is metal or non-metal.
  • The output is available in NPN+NO, PNP+NO or two-wire NO, models G18-3A30NA (or E3F-DS30C4), G18-3A30PA (or E3F-DS30P1) and G18-3A30LA(or E3F-DS30Y1) respectively. In addition, the output can be NC(Normally Close) as well.
  • The knob on the tail of this photoelectric sensor can adjust the detection distance from 10.0 cm to a maximum of 30.0 cm.
  • This M18 diffuse photoelectric sensor uses Light-On to detect objects, Light-On means that the receiver needs to get the light from the emitter then will activate the outputs.
  • Default working voltage is 6-36VDC, other voltages can be customized.
  • Two housing materials available, can be nickel-plated brass or PBT plastic.
  • Attention note: This M18 photoelectric sensor should be used in a clean environment, away from dust and oil, and requires regular maintenance.
