Introduction:
- Lorentzzi® M12 Inductive Proximity Sensor is a high quality and economical proximity switch with an operating voltage as low as 5VDC. Normal proximity sensors operate at 6-36 VDC or 90-250 VAC, this 5 VDC sensor is a customized proximity sensor.
- The “M12” here means its nickel-plated brass thread diameter is 12 mm, and its overall size is M12*35.5 mm (excluding cable).
- The default cable length is 2 meters, but if you want to extend this cable length, please contact us for customization.
- The sensor can be either pre-wired cable type or plug-in type, see the image below to see the difference:
- This M12 sensor can only be a non-shielded sensor, and its maximum detection distance is 4.0 mm.
- This inductive proximity sensor is designed to detect metal objects without contact, it is a contactless inductive switch.
- In addition, the sensor has short circuit and reverse polarity functions, which will not damage the M12 sensor if the sensor is miswired.
- Besides, it also has a large and clear LED working indicator light. When the sensor is in normal working condition, the LED will light up, letting us know its working status clearly.
- The output is only 5 VDC, 300 mA, however, if you want to extend its load capabilities, you can use this sensor with our DC/AC SSRs to control heavy loads.
