Introduction:
- Lorentzzi® G65 is a fork-type (U-slot) photoelectric sensor with a 10 mm slot width. It is also commonly referred to as a U-shaped or slotted photoelectric switch in the industry.
- This sensor adopts an integrated design with built-in infrared transmitter and receiver mounted opposite each other inside the U slot. Two output operation modes are available for selection: Light-On and Dark-On.
Light-On: Output activated when the infrared beam passes through the slot without obstruction.
Dark-On: Output activated when opaque objects block the infrared beam.
- Multiple output types are optional: NPN, PNP or relay contact output. Each version supports NO, NC, or combined NO+NC signal output to match different PLC and control system requirements.
- Widely applied for opaque object detection, motor rotational speed measurement and travel limit position control in automated machinery.
