- This Fork Sensor is our 7 mm detection distance photoelectric sensor that combines a light transmitter and receiver into one product. Its working principle is very simple: once the light from the transmitter to the receiver is blocked, its output will be activated.
- The light source is 650 nm invisible infrared light, and can also be other light sources such as laser, visible red light, etc.
- This fork-shaped sensor is very compact, with an overall size of only 55*25*16 mm, the same as the Omron E3S-GS7N or E3S-GS7P.

- The output type is PNP or NPN ( what is the difference between the two? See our article: PNP Vs NPN Proximity Sensors: Key Differences, Wiring Diagram And How To Choose ), and the switch type can be normally open or normally closed.
- Additionally, we can also provide fork sensors with 25.0 mm and 30.0 mm sensing distances.
