Lorentzzi® TCX5 temperature controller uses a more advanced PID algorithm to precisely control the temperature, ensuring a temperature control error of less than ±0.1 degrees Celsius. It also features a built-in self-tuning function, eliminating the need for manual adjustment of individual PID parameters.

Real Universal Input

The Lorentzzi TCX5 PID temperature controller’s input is not limited to traditional thermocouples and RTDs; its input signals can also be 4-20 mA, 0-5 VDC, or 1-5 VDC analog signals, so you can confidently use it with valves or temperature transmitters.

The Lorentzzi TCX5 PID temperature controller can be used for both heating and cooling control, so whether you want to use PID control to control the heating elements in an HVAC system or cooling control to control a compressor, you can easily use this temperature controller.

Quick Relay/SSR Output Switching

The controller defaults to relay output mode. To switch to SSR output, simply press the ▼ and ▲ keys simultaneously for 3 seconds. The display will show rLY for relay(can be used to control DC to AC SSRs, AC to AC SSRs or contactors) or SSr for SSR, eliminating the need for hardware changes.

Soft start function

Advanced Soft-start function

When a heating system is first put into operation, the current power output (PV) is much lower than the setpoint (SV), while the output power (OUT) reaches 100%. In some industries, this can seriously threaten the lifespan of the heating system, especially when the system frequently jumps from a low temperature to full power instantaneously.

A soft-start time range limits the output power to 25%, which acts as a buffer and extends the lifespan of the heating system.
