Introduction:
-
- The flange encoder in the image above is our company’s screw-mounted optical incremental rotary encoder. It has an outer diameter of 40.0 mm and a shaft diameter of 6.0 mm.
- The mounting screw thread size is M18, with a pitch of 1.0 mm and a screw length of 17.5 mm.
-
- The output can be ABZ three-phase or AA-BB-ZZ six-phase, where the Z phase output is used to locate the zero point, allowing users to understand the direction of motor rotation.
- Because the flange encoder’s output waveform is a square wave, it is also called a quadrature encoder. Its resolution ranges from 10 PPR to a maximum of 3600 PPR. The higher the resolution, the higher the accuracy.
- Its electrical output signal can be NPN open collector, PNP open collector, push-pull, long-line drive or voltage output. Different output signals can be matched with different instrument inputs.
- This optical screw mount flange encoder can be used as a feedback sensor for servo motors to precisely control rotation speed, rotation direction or movement displacement.
