Normalmente, h\u00e1 tr\u00eas eletrodos principais: \u00e2nodo (A), c\u00e1todo (K) e porta (G).\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Seu princ\u00edpio de funcionamento \u00e9 muito simples, ou seja, quando uma tens\u00e3o direta \u00e9 aplicada entre o anodo (A) e o catodo (K), ele n\u00e3o conduz diretamente. Ele s\u00f3 conduzir\u00e1 quando uma tens\u00e3o adequada for aplicada \u00e0 porta (G). Nesse momento, mesmo que a tens\u00e3o da porta seja removida, o anodo e o catodo ainda permanecer\u00e3o condutores. A \u00fanica condi\u00e7\u00e3o que pode impedir a condu\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 a invers\u00e3o da tens\u00e3o ou a interrup\u00e7\u00e3o da fonte de alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o. A seguir, uma introdu\u00e7\u00e3o detalhada a esses dois m\u00e9todos de controle:<\/span><\/p><p><b>Controle de mudan\u00e7a de fase<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Esse m\u00e9todo altera o \u00e2ngulo de condu\u00e7\u00e3o do SCR nos semiciclos positivo e negativo de cada onda senoidal para controlar a pot\u00eancia de sa\u00edda. Ele pode alcan\u00e7ar a regulagem cont\u00ednua da tens\u00e3o e da corrente de sa\u00edda.<\/span><\/p><p><b>Controle de cruzamento zero<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">: Em um per\u00edodo de tempo definido, a pot\u00eancia m\u00e9dia na carga \u00e9 ajustada pelo controle da rela\u00e7\u00e3o de tempo liga-desliga do SCR.
