funciona com base no efeito termoel\u00e9trico. Talvez voc\u00ea esteja confuso sobre esse efeito, deixe-me explicar. De acordo com a Wikipedia, o efeito termoel\u00e9trico ocorre quando temperaturas diferentes s\u00e3o aplicadas a ambas as extremidades de um peda\u00e7o de fio met\u00e1lico, uma for\u00e7a eletromotriz \u00e9 gerada em ambas as extremidades do fio met\u00e1lico e a corrente flui pelo fio met\u00e1lico depois que o circuito \u00e9 fechado (esse fen\u00f4meno tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 conhecido
