Lorsqu'un signal de commande est appliqu\u00e9 \u00e0 la borne de commande d'un relais statique triphas\u00e9, il ouvre ou ferme simultan\u00e9ment les trois thyristors ou triacs en parall\u00e8le, ce qui permet d'activer ou de d\u00e9sactiver simultan\u00e9ment la puissance triphas\u00e9e contr\u00f4l\u00e9e. Cela signifie \u00e9galement qu'un relais statique triphas\u00e9 est essentiellement une combinaison de trois relais statiques monophas\u00e9s.
