Ambos tipos se basan en las caracter\u00edsticas de conmutaci\u00f3n de los transistores para conseguir la salida de se\u00f1al, pero difieren en la forma de conectar los circuitos.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El interruptor interno del sensor de proximidad NPN est\u00e1 conectado entre el terminal de se\u00f1al y el polo negativo. Cuando no se acerca nada, el transistor NPN no funciona y la tensi\u00f3n de salida es alta; cuando se acerca algo, el transistor empieza a funcionar y la tensi\u00f3n de salida se vuelve baja. Por lo tanto, si desea que el dispositivo empiece a funcionar cuando se acerca algo, debe conectarlo entre el terminal de salida del sensor y el polo positivo de la fuente de alimentaci\u00f3n.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En cambio, el conmutador interno del interruptor de proximidad PNP est\u00e1 conectado entre el extremo de se\u00f1al y el polo positivo de la fuente de alimentaci\u00f3n. Cuando no hay se\u00f1al, la l\u00ednea de salida de se\u00f1al OUT y el polo positivo de la fuente de alimentaci\u00f3n VCC est\u00e1n desconectados, lo que equivale a que el extremo de salida no est\u00e1 conectado a nada; cuando hay se\u00f1al, la l\u00ednea de salida OUT y el polo positivo de la fuente de alimentaci\u00f3n VCC est\u00e1n conectados entre s\u00ed, y la tensi\u00f3n de salida es un nivel alto.
