 Introducción:

• The analog inductive proximity sensors here are our sensors with a housing diameter of 8 mm, 12 mm, 18 mm, 30 mm and 40 mm(square housing). Unlike our common NPN or PNP digital output sensors(which can only output on/off signals), the analog sensor output is a 0-10 VDC or 4-20 mA linear signal.
• As the distance between the detected object and the sensor gets closer, its output current or voltage will become smaller and smaller. Taking the M12 analog output sensor as an example, the relationship curve between its output and detection distance is as follows:

• The sensor has a wide operating voltage range of 18-30 VDC, so it can be powered by a DC24V switching power supply or even a 24 VDC battery.
• There are two types of shielded and unshielded to choose from. The maximum sensing distance of the shielded M8 is 1.5 mm, M12-2.0 mm, M18-5.0 mm, and the M30-10.0 mm, Z40-15.0 mm. The unshielded M8 is 2.5 mm, M12-4.0 mm, M18-7.0 mm, and the M30-14.0 mm.

• Built-in surge protection, over-current protection and reverse polarity protection circuits.

Analog Inductive Proximity Switch Applications:

1. Detect metal objects at long distances,
2. Measure the distance between metal material and sensor,
3. Used in conjunction with PID control modules to control the tension balance of metal materials.
